More Than a Bar—

We're a Neighborhood Tradition

Welcome to Bunker, a friendly, unpretentious spot built for the West Loop neighborhood. We opened our doors with a simple mission: to create a go-to place where the beer is always cold, the food is seriously good, and the vibe is always welcoming. We're more than just a bar and restaurant; we're a community hub, a place to celebrate victories, and your favorite spot to just unwind.

Our Story: From a Simple Idea

to a West Loop Staple

Bunker was born from a love for those classic neighborhood bars where everyone feels like a regular. After years in the Chicago hospitality scene, we saw an opportunity to create something special in the West Loop—a place without the pretense, focused on quality drinks, delicious, crave-able food like our famous smash burgers, and genuine human connection. We wanted to build the kind of spot we’d want to hang out in. From day one, our goal has been to be a cornerstone of the community, a reliable favorite for both locals and visitors exploring Chicago.

What We're All About

  • Good Food, Good Mood: We're passionate about our menu. From our legendary smash burgers to our crispy wings and late-night eats, we serve up the kind of food that makes you happy. It's the perfect fuel for catching the game or catching up with friends.

  • A Perfect Pour, Every Time: Whether it's a local craft beer from a Chicago brewery, a classic domestic, or a perfectly mixed cocktail, our bar is stocked and our bartenders are ready. We believe a great drink is the start of a great night.

  • A Vibe for All Seasons: Rain or shine, we've got the spot. Our cozy interior is perfect for watching the game on our big screens, while our sunny West Loop patio is the ultimate destination for afternoon drinks and al fresco dining.

You’ll find cocktail-table arcade games tucked into corners, a vintage jukebox loaded with crowd-pleasers, and a mini shuffleboard table that turns strangers into rivals real fast. Weekly Trivia Night’s that bring friends together. Bunker’s full of those little extras that make it feel like a place to play.
